The Colonial Victorian building was built in 1861 as an orphanage founded by Margaret Haughery, the famous New Orleans philanthropist. St. Vincent's is a testament to her unique life and its special history is recognized by the Historic Commission. The three story building has a grand central staircase and we also offer elevator service. Recently renovated, the decor features white wicker furnishings and charming floral fabrics. Cancellation is 72 hours prior to arrival, (Mardi Gras, Jazzfest and New Year are two week cancellation). Cancellation outside the timeframe will be subject to a one night charge. Timely cancellations are subject to a processing fee of $10 to be transacted by St. Vincent's.
