FROM POINTS TO NORTH/BOSTON: Take Route 24 South ? follow Route 24 until it becomes Route 114 South. Follow Route 114 South into downtown Newport until you can go no further. At the traffic light, turn left onto Thames Street. Proceed approximately 50 yards and take first left onto Mary Street. Vanderbilt Hall Hotel will be on the right side just past the municipal parking lot. FROM POINTS NORTH/PROVIDENCE: Take Interstate 95 South to Route 4 (exit on left). Continue on Route 4 to the Route 138 Exit (Jamestown/Newport). Continue on Route 138 over the Jamestown Bridge and over the Newport Bridge ($2 cash toll). Take the first exit after the bridge (Scenic Newport) and turn right at end of ramp. Proceed to the second traffic light and stay to the left. This is the beginning of Thames Street. Continue through downtown district. Proceed straight through traffic light (Citizens Bank on left). Proceed approximately 50 yards and take first left onto Mary Street. Vanderbilt Hall Hotel will be on the right side just past the municipal parking lot. FROM POINTS SOUTH/NEW YORK: Take Interstate 95 North to Rhode Island Exit 3 (Route 138 East). Follow Route 138 for approximately 15 miles, then follow signs for Jamestown/Newport bridges. Continue over the Newport Bridge ($2 cash toll). Take the first exit after the bridge (Scenic Newport) and turn right at end of ramp. Proceed to the second traffic light and stay to the left. This is the beginning of Thames Street. Deposit and cancellation policy:

A deposit of one night's room and tax is required at the times of reservation. Deposits are applied to the last night of your stay. Early departure will result in forfeiture of your deposit. With a minimum of 14 days notice your deposit is refundable in full, less a $50 (plus tax) per room administrative fee. With less than 14 days notice your deposit will be forfeited. Guestrooms are normally available from 3.00p.m. All reservations are guarnteed for late arrival. Check out is by 12.00 p.m. on the day of departure.
